Bean supper – Saturday, April 26, 5-6 p.m., North Congregational Church, 22 Church Hill Road, Groveville (Buxton). Two kinds of beans, red hot dogs, American chop suey, cole slaw, rolls, desserts, coffee and punch. $8. Takeout available.

Free ham dinner – Monday, April 28, 5:30 p.m., First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Gorham. Sponsored by the Gorham Ecumenical Council. Last community dinner of the season. Ham, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, salads, and dessert.

Springtime supper – Saturday, April 26, 5-6 p.m., Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121), Casco. Spring salads, beans, casseroles, homemade pies, rolls, cold beverages and hot coffee. $7, $4; $20 maximum for families with young children.

Free meal – Wednesday, April 30, 5:30-6 p.m., My Place Teen Center, 755 Main St., Westbrook. Sponsored in collaboration with Wayside Food Programs and hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church at the teen center. Use the Foster Street entrance. Handicapped accessible.

VFW dinner – Wednesday, April 30, 5-6:30 p.m., VFW Post 832, 50 Peary Terrace, South Portland. $7.

Public lunch – Friday, May 2, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., North Yarmouth Congregational Church, 3 Gray Road, North Yarmouth. Homemade haddock chowder and desserts, a monthly special, and grilled sandwiches. Takeout available. All proceeds benefit the church’s local and global community.

Public supper – Saturday, May 3, 5 p.m., West Gorham Union Church, 190 Ossipee Trail (Route 25), Gorham. Ticket sales start at 4 p.m. Three kinds of beans, hot dogs, chicken pie, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, delicious homemade pies, coffee and punch. No one leaves hungry; $8, $3.
