Public lunch – Friday, April 4, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., North Yarmouth Congregational Church, 3 Gray Road, North Yarmouth. Homemade haddock chowder and desserts, a monthly special, and grilled sandwiches. Take out is available. All proceeds benefit the church’s local and global community.

Haddock dinner – Friday, April 4, 5-6:30 p.m., St. Anne’s Church, 299 Main St., Gorham. Sponsored by St. Anne’s Council of Knights of Columbus. Baked haddock, mashed potatoes, peas, cole slaw, dinner roll, beverage and homemade dessert. $9, $5.

Spaghetti supper – Friday, April 4, 5-7 p.m., Gorham Recreation Department, 75 South St., Gorham. A benefit sponsored by members of the Gorham Fire/Rescue Department to send two Gorham High School students, who have a rare visual disorder, to attend the 2014 Achromatopsia Convention in Florida. $7, $5.

Public supper – Saturday, April 5, 5 p.m., West Gorham Union Church, 190 Ossipee Trail (Route 25) three miles west of Gorham Village, Gorham. Three kinds of beans, hot dogs, chicken pie, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, homemade pies, coffee and punch. Ticket sales start at 4 p.m. $8, $3.

Bean supper – Saturday, April 5, 4:30-6 p.m., Hollis Lions Club, corner of routes 202 and 35, Hollis. Beans, hot dogs, chop suey and desserts. $8, $3.

VFW dinner – Wednesday, April 9, 5-6:30 p.m., VFW Post 832, 50 Peary Terrace, South Portland. $7.
