Saturday, March 10, at 7:00 p.m., Music with a Mission is proud to feature Susie Pepper and Mixology for an evening of jazz standards, pop, rock, R&B and classics for all ages.  The Music with a Mission concert series is sponsored by the North Windham Union Church, which donates a portion of the proceeds to area non-profits.

Classical Guitar Master Class with Lily Afshar, 5-7 free. 

March 6 

Classical Guitar Concert with Lily Afshar, 7:30 p.m. A concert of classical guitar works, featuring Lily Afshar, will be the next offering of the Warren Memorial Visiting Artist Series. Afshar will perform well-known classical guitar solos by Tarrega, Barrios, Reis, Bach, Brouwer, Granados, and Albeniz, along with a collection of Persian & Azerbaijani Ballads arranged by the performer. $15 adults, $10 seniors, USM employees and alumni, $5 students Corthell Concert Hall, USM Gorham Campus. Purchase tickets online at the Music Box Office, by phone at (207) 780-5555, or at the door.

Music with a Mission features Susie Pepper & Mixology, 7 p.m., an evening of jazz standards, pop, rock, R&B and classics for all ages. Tickets will be sold at the door and online. $15 for adults and $12 for students, children, and seniors.  The box office opens at 6:00 and the doors will open at 6:30. Pop-Up Shakespeare: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” 14 Maine-based theater companies perform a no-holds-barred interpretation of Shakespeare’s comedy. Friday, 6-7:30 p.m., Portland First Friday Art Walk; Saturday, 2 & 7 p.m., Urban Farm Fermentory, 200 Anderson St., Portland, $12-15, all ages.

 USM Department of Theater and Music: “A Man of No Importance,”

A poignant story of self-discovery set against the backdrop of Dublin, Ireland, in the early 1960’s. March 2, 3, 8, & 9 at 7:30pm. March 4 & 7 at 5:00pm and March 3 at 2:00pm. $22 for Adults; $16 for Seniors, USM employees and alumni;

“Willy Wonka Jr.” presented by Windham Center Stage Theater, 8 School Rd, in the Windham Town Hall. Ninety talented kids in two casts. March 9-25.
