Congin Artisan Craft Fair
WESTBROOK — The 4th annual Congin Artisan Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Congin School.
More than 60 vendors will sell their crafts. There also will be raffles, a silent auction, a bake sale and concessions.
Poets on Nov. 18
WESTBROOK — Lowry’s Lodge poetry series will feature Jim Glenn Thatcher and James Breslin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Continuum for Creativity, 863 Main St.
There will be a question-and-answer session and light refreshments will be served. A $4 donation is suggested.
Dancers in ‘Nutcracker’
Several dancers from Westbrook will perform in Maine State Ballet’s productions of “The Nutcracker” with six performances beginning Nov. 24 and continuing through Sunday, Dec. 3, at Merrill Auditorium in Portland.
The Westbrook cast members are Aurora Halfacre, Carter Halfacre, Elare Halfacre, Garrett Halfacre, Sylvie Manhart, MarieClaire Owens, Jean Marie Piekart and Evangelie Turcotte.
Performances and times are 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24; 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25; 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26; 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1; 2 and 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2.; and 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3.

Even more ‘Nutcrackers’
WESTBROOK — Two dance troupes will perform their versions of “The Nutcracker” at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center in December.
Studio for the Living Arts Dance Complex will present “The Nutcracker” at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. For ticket information, go to www.westbrookpac.org/events.
