Cutline (BUX-HOLLIS kids fishing derby) – Young fishermen and adults attend the awards ceremony at the Buxton-Hollis Rod and Gun Club following Sunday’s annual youth fishing derby. Steve Wilson, one of the derby organizers, reports brook trout, pickerel and bass were caught in the event, which was held at Deer Pond in Hollis. Eighty-seven children age 3 to 15 participated, and 25 trophies were awarded. Wilson said Ian Lau of Sanford caught the largest trout.
