Cape Elizabeth High School’s newest neighbor could be retail space that would include a Dunkin’ Donuts.
The house just south of the high school entrance would be torn down to make way for a proposed building.
Consultants representing the property owner will present plans for the new development to Town Council and School Board members at the Town Hall on Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m., right before the public hearing on the proposed budget.
One option being proposed is to have an exit driveway from the new development onto the high school’s driveway. The developer has made it clear that the project could proceed without the high school driveway access. In that case, there would only be access from Route 77.
