GIRLS LACROSSE: Scarborough in state final


SCARBOROUGH – The Scarborough girls lacrosse team is heading back to the state championship game.

The Red Storm won the Class A Western title on Wednesday, getting past No. 3 Kennebunk, 9-6. The Storm got three goals from Kelsey Howard in the game and Mary Scott had two goals of her own.

Scarborough (13-1) will take on Brunswick (11-3) for the Class A title at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.
