Low but good

Following a report on Sept. 1 from Main Street, Sgt. Ted Hatch learned that an aircraft was not in any danger but was just doing low flybys.

Early puff

Someone was smoking at 2 a.m. on Sept. 9 on the side of School Street near the USM campus where smoking is banned.

Shooting stars

Police found two college students, who said they were taking photos of the stars for a school project, at 1:10 a.m. on Sept. 15 at Ossipee Trail and Dow Road.


Matthew B. Jones, 29, Forest Street, Portland, on Aug. 31 on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drug, unlawful possession of fentanyl powder, and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, on Main Street.
