A Night for Morrison
Motor Booty Affair: A Night for Morrison, a dance party and fundraiser at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, will benefit the Morrison Center, including the Adult Day Inclusion Program in Gray.
The age 21-and-over event, to be held at 60 Chamberlain Road in Scarborough, will feature a silent auction, food, cash bar, raffle and costume contest.

GOP Candidates Night
Come meet Republican candidates on the November ballot at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at the Gray Public Library. Scheduled to attend are: Mark Holbrook, candidate for Congress, Maine First District; Cathy Nichols of Falmouth, candidate for Maine Senate; Sue Austin of Gray, candidate for re-election to the Maine House of Representatives; Greg Foster of Raymond, candidate for the Maine House of Representatives; and Amy Arata of New Gloucester, candidate for the Maine House of Representatives.
There also will be a representative from the Stop the Scam/No on 1 group presenting. Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Gray Republicans.
The Maine Wildlife Park will host a Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and Sunday, Oct. 14, featuring fall-themed games, activities and attractions. “Old tyme” harvest games include favorites from the past such as giant spider legs, pumpkin long jump, rodent barn maze and lil’ hayride.

Supper, BBQ, music
The American Legion Auxiliary will hold a Community Supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Post 86, 15 Lewiston Road. The cost is $8. Proceeds go to American Legion programs in the area.
A Rock-tober 12 barbecue with Back Woods Road will be held from 6-11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the legion. Proceeds will support Boys and Girls State Programs of the American Legion and Auxiliary.
Fall Book Sale
The Gray Public Library Association Fall Book Sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. For $5, you can attend the Early Bird Sale the evening before from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
