Lake Region teems with talent

Lake Region Community Theatre held the finals for the 4th annual Lake Region’s Got Talent on Jan. 29. From a pool of 14 original contestants, the  fantastic, final showcase of talent featured six acts. The performers included: Julia DiStefano of Brownfield, Alice O’Connor of Bridgton, Alizah Girard of Bridgton, Haley Cote of Leeds, Reiyn Hart of Bridgton and Abbie Vaughn of Fryeburg.

After an hour of heartfelt singing from each of the contestants, the judges and the audience certainly had a difficult decision to make in selecting the top three performers. While the voting was tallied, the crowd was entertained by Naples’ very own Sean Buchanan.

Finally, the winners were announced to an eager audience. Vaughn took first place, Cote second and Hart third.

Lake Region Community Theatre wishes to thank the following sponsors: Krainin Real Estate, Hayes True Value, Greenwood Manor Inn, SAvery Photography, SportHaus, Lake Region Weddings, Fountain of You, Steamboat Landing Miniature Golf, McDonald’s and Pat’s Pizza.

Head’s up on school days
