Meeting

The Rebekah Lodge No. 71 will meet at 7:30 p.m. April 4 at the Odd Fellows Hall. The program will be a “Scotch Auction” and refreshments will be served.

Pet Food Donation

On Saturday, March 31, there will be a pet food donation day at the Kennel Shop in the Shaw’s Plaza. This food goes to the Windham Food Pantry to help people take care of their pets. For more information, contact Barbara Muir at 892-6096.

Visitor

Elsie Haskell recently had a visit from her sister-in-law, Virginia Cram, of Spencer, Mass. She stayed with another relative before attending a meeting in Auburn.

Food Pantry

A reminder that the Windham Food Pantry is open to Seniors Thursday mornings. The hours are 9-11 a.m. and it is located across from the Friends Church and next to the Public Safety Building.

Home

Joey DeLeo returned home March 29 from Arizona where he was again doing missionary work. He has been working with children there who come from some troubled areas. He does activities with them including taking them to the movies and the library.

Meeting

The Windham Health Council will meet April 4 at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Isabelle Temm. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome.

Clothes Closet

If you are cleaning out your closets to get ready for summer remember the Windham Clothes Closet. If you donate your things to them they will be given to a needy Windham family or individual. Drop off can be on Mondays, 5:30-7 p.m. Please be sure they are clean, whole and usable.
