Moses Little, lived and had his law office at Windham Hill. The Windham Historical Society has a large collection of his papers. A descendant, also named Moses, is shown here in 1914, leaving church. Moses Little was one of at least a half dozen “merchants” with offices and stores at the intersection of Pope and Windham Center Road in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Windham Hill was a thriving community with taverns for travelers by stage coach, retail shops, post office and even a small manufacturing business. Moses Little’s name is now associated with a development at Windham Hill.
