Mideast does indeed have Christian churches

In response to Mr. Ewig of Raymond, who recently wrote a letter to the editor regarding our society’s loss of interest in religion, while I agree that people of faith should live in concert with their beliefs, I am appalled that he also included misinformation. It took less than five minutes on Google to discover that there are indeed Christian and Catholic churches in the Middle East, including Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen and Jordan. In fact, it seemed that the only two countries that do not have Christian churches are Saudi Arabia and Iran.
