Point Sebago to host annual RSU14 benefit golf tournament

WINDHAM and CASCO — Point Sebago Resort will play host, on Saturday, June 24, to the seventh annual RSU14 Athletics Golf Tournament, proceeds from which will benefit Windham High School’s sundry sports programs.

The event, a scramble, will take place rain or shine; check-in opens at 7 a.m. and the golf itself begins at 8. The cost is $400 per team ($100 per player) and includes greens fees, cart rental and lunch. Contests and raffles will be held during the day, and prizes awarded.

Each player will receive a free round of golf on their next trip to Point Sebago (cart not included), as well as a two-for-one deal usable on another return visit.

Anyone interested in supporting the tournament has a variety of options at their disposal for doing so. Beyond simply registering a team to play, they can sign up as a sponsor or they can donate a prize to be awarded at the event.

Sponsors receive additional benefits in return for their generosity, including recognition at the tournament itself, in Windham High School, and at 2017-18 athletic events. They also receive free admission to those events.

Registration should be completed by June 1. For more information, email Travis Demmons at travisdemmons@yahoo.com.
