Santa and cookie walk – Saturday, Nov. 26, 10 a.m., Bar Mills Parish House, Route 4A, Buxton. Sponsored by Dorcas Society of Hollis and Buxton. See Santa and cookie decorating includes two cookies to decorate. Admission, $5.

Annual cookie fare – Saturday, Dec. 3, 9-11 a.m., Cressey Road United Methodist Church, corner of Cressey Road and Route 25, Gorham. Thousands of home-baked cookies and fill a box for $9; candy and fudge available; and children can decorate a large sugar cookie for $1.

Jolly snowman Christmas fair – Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 280 Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth. Crafts, wreaths, knit goods, baked goods, homemade candy, hidden treasure room, silent auction for special items, services and gift certificates. Luncheon 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. with lobster rolls, hot dogs, and homemade desserts.

Holiday open house – Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m,.-2 p.m., Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Arthur P. Girard Adoption Center, 217 Landing Road (behind the Stroudwater Street facility), Westbrook. Gifts, trees and holiday greens, stocking stuffers, hand-knit scarves, hats and mittens, jewelry, tons of pet baskets, baked goods, pottery and more. Donations of shelter  food, toys and supplies accepted and receive a $5 off coupon for  purchases of  trees, wreaths, and gifts.

Holiday craft fair and book sale – Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., North Gorham Public Library, 2 Standish Neck Road, Gorham. Crafters can reserve a table for $10; half table, $5.

Christmas fair – Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, 40 Windham Center Road, Windham. Wreaths, ornaments, mittens, baked goods, jewelry, glassware and silent auction.

Holiday craft fair – Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Morrison Center, 60 Chamberlain Road, Scarborough. Forty local crafters, Santa visit, raffles, bake sale, homemade lunch, greenhouses stocked with poinsettias, wreaths and other plants.

Christmas fair – Saturday, Dec. 3, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Tory Hill Church Parish House, Route 4A, Bar Mills (Buxton). Raffles, baked goods, fudge, white elephant, new gifts and a light lunch.

Annual cookie fest – Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Bonney Memorial Library, 36 Main St., Cornish. Homemade cookies.

Winter Wonderland Christmas fair – Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Peoples United Methodist Church, 310 Broadway, South Portland. Jewelry, knits, crafts, homemade baked goods and candy, books, in addition to trash and treasure. Lunch wirth chowder, chicken salad sandwiches, hot dogs and chili.

Made in Maine Christmas fair – Saturday, Dec. 3, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 4, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 919 Roosevelt Trail, Windham. Themed baskets, custom-made aprons, knitted items, jewelry, Christmas shop, homemade baked goods and pantry items, fantastic nearly new booth, children’s area, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus visit, snowflake cafe with homemade chili and other offerings. Raffles with gift certificates, hand-crafted quilt and furnished cap style dollhouse. Admission is free.
