Community meal – Thursday, Feb. 27, noon, Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Beef pie. Suggested donation $5.

Haddock dinner – Friday, Feb. 28, 5-6:30 p.m., St. Anne’s Church, 299 Main St., Gorham. Sponsored by St. Anne’s Council of Knights of Columbus. Baked haddock, mashed potatoes, peas, cole slaw, dinner roll, beverage and homemade dessert. $9, $5.

Mardi Gras dinner-dance – Saturday, March 1, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (dinner), Bar Mills Parish House, Route 4, Buxton. Sponsored by Dorcas Society of Hollis and Buxton. All proceeds to benefit the Dorcas Society scholarship and local charities. Lasagna dinner followed by line dancing at 7 p.m., with lessons. Event includes door prizes. $10.

Chicken pie supper – Saturday, March 1, 5-6:30 p.m., First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Gorham. Homemade chicken potpie, veggies, potatoes, rolls, pies and beverages. $10, $5.

Bean supper – Saturday, March 1, 5 and 6 p.m., Prides Corner Church, 235 Pride St., Westbrook. Beans with ham, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, Italian bread, homemade pies and beverages. $8, $5.

Bean supper – Saturday, March 1, 4:30-6 p.m., Hollis Lions Club, Palmer Hall, intersection routes 202 and 35, Hollis. Beans, hot dogs, chop suey and desserts. $8, $3.

Roast beef supper – Saturday, March 1, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Scarborough Lions Den, 273 Gorham Road, Scarborough. All you can eat and take outs available. $9, $4.

Fresh haddock dinner – Saturday, March 1, 5-6 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Route 302, North Windham. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus, Windham Council. Baked haddock, mashed potatoes, vegetable, cole slaw, rolls, coffee, tea and punch, and homemade dessert buffet. $9, $4; family $25 max. Proceeds from the dinner will go toward funding the Community of the Resurrection in Otisfield, a community of Dominican Sisters who provide help to women in need.

Public supper – Saturday, March 1, 4:30-6 p.m., Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 280 Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth. Casseroles, beans, salads, breads and pies for dessert. $8, $5, or $20 for families (two adults and children). Take-out will be available.

Senior Community Café – Tuesday, March 4, noon, Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St., Westbrook. $5, suggested donation for 60-plus. For more information, call Kate at 956-1348.

VFW dinner – Wednesday, March 5, 5-6:30 p.m., VFW Post 832, 50 Peary Terrace, South Portland. Chicken pot pie, salad and dessert. $7.

Free meal – Wednesday, March 5, 5:30-6 p.m., My Place Teen Center, 755 Main St., Westbrook. Sponsored in collaboration with Wayside Food Programs and hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church at the teen center. Use the Foster Street entrance. Handicapped accessible.
