Community meal – Thursday, Nov. 10, noon, Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Baked chicken, suggested donation, $5.

Chowder luncheon – Friday, Nov. 11, and every Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland. Bowl of haddock chowder with crackers, $9; or lobster roll lunch with chips, $10; cup of chowder, $6; combination lobster roll with cup opf chowder, $13. All lunches include fresh baked bread, pickle, cookie and beverage. Takeouts available.

Free meal – Friday, Nov. 11, 6 p.m., Libby-Mitchell Post 76, American Legion, 42 Manson Libby Road, Scarborough. Spaghetti dinner and American flag disposal. Take unserviceable, faded and torn flags for proper disposal.

Breakfast buffet – Saturday, Nov. 12, 7:30-10 a.m., West Cumberland United Methodist Church, 5 Upper Methodist Road (corner of Blackstrap), Cumberland. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, baked beans, muffins, fresh fruiit, juice, coffee, and tea. Takeout available; $7, $3.

Bean supper – Saturday, Nov. 12, 5-6 p.m., Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Two kinds of beans, hot dogs, cole slaw, American chop suey, bread & butter pickles, homemade pies, beverages. $8, $3.

Chicken pie supper – Saturday, Nov. 12, 5 and 6:30 p.m., Prides Corner Church, 235 Pride St., Westbrook. $12.

Pasta dinner -– Saturday, Nov. 12, 5-6 p.m., St. Anne’s Church, 299 Main St., Gorham. Pasta with spaghetti sauce, salad, rolls, and dessert. $8, $5.

Free meal – Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5-6 p.m., Westbrook Community Center, 426 Bridge St., Westbrook. Sponsored in collaboration with Wayside Food programs and Trinity Lutheran Church. Handicapped accessible and free parking.

VFW meal – Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5-6:30 p.m., VFW Post 832, Peary Terrace, South Portland. Beef stew, salad, rolls, and dessert. $7.
