Impaired driving

The Westbrook Police Department has received a grant from the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety to conduct dedicated enforcement patrols targeting impaired drivers. These patrols began last weekend, and will remain through September 2017.  Along with dedicated patrols, the department will be conducting checkpoints to look for impaired drivers.

“WPD wants to remind everyone of the dangers of impaired driving,” said Capt. Steve Goldberg. “Please stay safe on the roads, and if you choose to drink, please have a designated driver.”
